What is people listening to at the moment? Why is dance so big now?

3 Years ago, all the top hits were rap, r’n'b & rock, but now all you listen to on the radio is dance music, but not only just house dance, but electro dance, which i love! Big named DJs like Dave Guetta, Afrojack, Calvin Harris just to name a few, have started to follow the trent of todays most listened to music.

This type of popular dance seems to be what every DJ/Producer wants to create, and thats why David Guetta has made such an impact on the dance scene throughout the world.

My opinion, the man who is top of the charts is Calvin Harris. His amazing catchy beats are some intense beats and no one can match what he creates. His tracks are played all over radio & in clubs throughout the world. Not only can he produce, but he can DJ, and thats why he is so popular through the world by being asked to played at many music festivals throughout the world.

2 years ago, Skrillex started to make his impact in the dub scene by creating some of the heaviest dub tracks you can ever put to your ears. Now, Nero are making their way into the music scene by creating some amazing dub tracks which is driving people insane. Now the question is like asking if you a Holden or a Ford fan, so this is a point of either your a Skrillex fan or a Nero fan.

Im not being biased cause i think both of these producers are some of the greatest music makers i have even known. Their crazy drops, their loud as fuck bass and their dirty dub gets me so keen for a night out in the city.

Nero recently played at Parklife in Sydney and will be returning to Australia for Big Day Out 2012.

Skrillex recently toured Australia with Stereosonic which was hands down, one of the best sets i have ever seen live. Ive never seen a DJ pump up a crowd as much as Skrillex.

Josh Pyke fits nicely, if unexpectedly, into the down-beat Throw it Away. Reggae-tinged next single Boys Like You – where ’60 back-pedals away from his pantsman reputation – sounds like a hit. It also sounds like it samples an old song, rather female singer Gossling handles an original but instantly familiar chorus with style.

While he’s lazily compared with Eminem, only the rolling flow of the verses of the title track give you Lose Yourself flashbacks.

While not praising himself or joking about things not fit to print here (pretty much all of Hammer Head), it is when 360 gets emotional that he stands out from the pack.

Child is a touching statement on his alcoholic uncle and bullied brother – with real, live instruments adding real-life depth.

Final track Hope You Don’t Mind sees ’60 bravely list off his insecurities, from being underweight to being depressed causing him to be a “brittle mess” – it’s a refreshing antidote to every egotistical rap you’ve endured.

By Far, Australia’s most popular rapper on the scene at the moment. Melbourne based rapper 360 has shot to the top of the ladder with his amazing tunes and his catchy beats. He has been hitting music festivals all over Australia and has also been in the battle scene through Australia & the globe.

His tracks have been well open for producers to remix his stuff & thats what exactly Redial & 12th Planet have done, both coming up with their ‘Killer’ remix of 360′s track ‘Killer’.

Different tunes here. Redial has gone for a more catchy, boppy beats where 12th Planet has dubbed his usual tracks and has turned it into a dance floor filler.

When you think of clubs in Sydney that you have to go to one saturday night, people will tell you to head to Kings Cross and get in the cue for Fake Club, one of Sydney’s greatest nightclubs. Located on Roslyn Street in The Cross, Fake Club has earned a massive reputation through the Sydney scene after kicking off FAKE at Sydney’s most known club Tank, which was a massive success. After news that TANK was closing down, FAKE had to find another club to party in. But instead of hiring the club every saturday night, they bought one! Its now their club and its their own hours and their own rules. Since opening back in mid 2011, Fake Club has seen massive names perform in the club, such as The Proxy, GTronic, Ajax, Redial, Round Table Knight’s, just to name a few.

Fake Club also held the Official After Party for Parklife in 2011 and sponsors many major events in different clubs.

Fake Owner’s and Management should have their head held high for producing one of the greatest clubs in Sydney.
